HIS 7750 iSilence 5 1GB Video Card

The HIS 7750 iSilence 5 1GB video card was launched by Hightech Information System (HIS) today, offering gamers a very nice mid to high-end card with absolutely silent passive cooling. The video card is build on the Radeon HD 7750 chipset and sports core and memory clock speeds at 800MHx and 4500MHz respectively. The big draw of the HIS 7750 iSilence 5 1GB is the fact that there are no fans on this card – it’s completely silent. Thanks to the iSilence technology, the card literally offers a 0 dB experience, but still do the job when it comes to keeping the card cool enough in your gaming PC rig to operate. The card also purportedly has a very low relative power consumption, requiring only a 400W powersupply and, surprisingly, no external power.

For those of you unfamiliar with the iSilence technology, it is only specific to HIS branded video cards and is intended for passive cooling for both gaming and multimedia machines. The cooling is a a heatsink and heatpip made from high quality copper that dissipates heat off the GPU in optimal fashion. The extra large cooling area, as evidenced from the picture the manufacturer supplied, is designed to optimally draw large amounts of heat away from the card itself. Combining that with the 4X 6mm thick heatpipes that transfer the heat, the card stays cool enough and offers zero noise.

The HIS 7750 iSilence 5 1GB supports the brand new PCI-e 3.0 bus design, made for maximum performance and providing double bandwidth per lane of PCI-e 2.x. When coupled with the latest platforms, this card can definitely reach it’s potential. The card is also armed with the AMD PowerPlay and AMD PowerTune technology so you can optimize the card yourself to balance video card performance and power consumption. You’ll be able to tweak the card yourself using this easy-to-use tool included with the software. In addition, the card supports the latest 3D games thanks to the AMD Eyefinity 2.0 technology, as well as being able to expand your visual experience across three monitors. The HIS 7750 iSilence 5 1GB also supports Microsoft DirectX 11.1 support, so it’s ready for the next generation of PC video games. Onboard the HIS 7750 iSilence 5 1GB video card are two mini-display ports for connectivity. The dual-link DVI port allows you to connect a display running up to 2560×1600 resolution. HIS has made the 7750 iSilence 5 1GB video card available in the United States at popular online retail shops.
