HELLFRONT: HONEYMOON Releases Later This Month

Thunderful Games and Skygoblin announced the release date for HELLFRONT: HONEYMOON. The first game published under Thunderful launches on November 30 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC with the Switch version coming out early 2019.

HELLFRONT: HONEYMOON blends the pace and frenetic energy of a twin-stick shooter with the methodical planning of a strategy game. The result is a laser filled experience where up to 4 players can compete in lighting quick matches sharing one screen to determine a singular winner.

Find some friends, a couch, and some Capri Suns then get ready for intense pick-up-and-play local death matches. The PvPvPvP combat is built around tight controls and short, adrenaline filled matches. Everyone is fighting for control of the single screen battlefield using base building, troop management and twin-stick shooting to show their mastery of skill and strategy.

While the game is best enjoyed with buds, all of the games levels can be played with 1-4 people in both local co-op and death match. When playing by yourself you can still find plenty of challenge and content with a clever AI and tons of missions.

Plus competing to be top of the online leaderboard will keep you working to show people you’re the best. Throw in flashy 80s-inspired atmosphere, slick graphics, and a killer soundtrack, and there is a lot to dig into.

HELLFRONT: HONEYMOON releases on PS4, PC, and Xbox for $9.99 on November 30.

Our Take

The fine folx at Thunderful Games had a hell of a year with the release of SteamWorld Dig 2 and Flipping Death. After some exciting mergers and acquisitions, the publisher is releasing its first published game. HELLFRONT: HONEYMOON is a departure, but it looks like a chaotic good time.
