GTA 5 release date PS3

GTA 5 release date PS3 is September 17, 2013. For anyone that has not been living in a cave for the last four months or actively avoids pre-order signs knows that the GTA 5 release date PS3 has changed. Originally Rockstar aimed for a spring 2013 GTA 5 release date PS3. However, at the beginning of the year, Rockstar pushed the game back to the disappointment of gamers everywhere. No game this year has been more hotly anticipated than GTA 5. Rockstar has been tight lipped about the game release controlled information slowly and targetedly since rumors began spreading about GTA 5’s existence.

[adsense250itp]One thing known for certain about the game is that the GTA 5 release date PS3 is Sep 17, the game will also be released on the Xbox 360 at the same time. While GTA 4 sold better on the Xbox 360 upon its release, Rockstar has traditionally developed games on Sony platforms, so it will be interesting to see what happens with GTA 5. Will it run better on the Xbox 360, but will the smaller gap between consoles in gamers’ houses lead to closer sales figures among the two version of GTA 5? There still has been no word from Rockstar about the game appearing on other consoles besides the PS3 and Xbox 360 only the GTA 5 release date PS3 is certain at this point. For those that have not read Sean Gibson’s Is GTA 5 on PC? article, check it out for a take on PC gamer’s desire to play the latest GTA game. While information on the game has been sparse, do check out Alejandro Grover’s preview of GTA 5 here; also check out the official Box Art for the game here; and some of the artwork and screenshots here.

For a perspective on what this delay will mean for GTA 5, read Ben Sheene’s What does the GTA 5 Delay Signify? here. This week will see the third trailer for GTA 5 in the form of three character trailers about the games three protagonists: Franklin, Michael and Trevor. So fans will get a chance to learn more about the three characters they will take control of this September. While it is no real consolation for having to wait another five long months to play the game, it will shed some more information on the story and characters, which have always been the strongest aspect of Grand Theft Auto games. Until then check out some of the classic GTA games and prepare for the GTA 5 release date PS3 on Sep 17, 2012.
