Rockstar unveiled 10 new screenshots from Grand Theft Auto 5 on the official company blog.

The images show off the setting of Rockstar’s upcoming game along with vehicles, weapons and hobbies players will be able to do in GTA 5.

Players will be able to explore the highs and lows of Los Santos in GTA 5. Skydiving and scuba diving are featured in the screenshots. It was previously reported that each of the game’s three playable characters would have specific side activities available to play.

One new screenshot also shows some old-fashioned GTA-style carnage as playable character Franklin destroys a police car with a mini-gun. The other two main characters, Michael and Trevor, each are featured in their own new screenshot featuring vehicles from the game.

In addition, the city of Los Santos and its landmarks are the stars of several of the new images released by Rockstar. Both the mountainous outdoors and concrete jungle are artfully displayed. A Santa Monica Pier-like area is the foreground for an image that shows off ocean and lightning effects. Another screenshot features a police helicopter chasing a vehicle near an area that looks eerily similar to the Hollywood Bowl.

Rockstar revealed no details to go along with the images. A comment on the post made by the company states all screenshots are taken from the current generation of consoles.

GTA 5 is set to release Sept. 17 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The game has not been announced for PC but a petition that emerged on the Internet urges Rockstar to release a PC version.
