/ Jul 28th, 2016 No Comments

If you are a fan of Gears of War, you may be interested in purchasing the limited edition Gears of War 4-themed Xbox One S. Seagate announced it will launch a portable Game Drive that will match the console.

The Gears of War 4 Special Edition 2TB Portable Drive features the Gears logo and battle-weathered look of the limited edition Xbox One S console.

In addition to adding 2TB of space to your Xbox One — enough to hold about 50 games — the Gears-themed Game Drive will come with two gear packs for the game that can be used to unlock character and weapon skins and XP boosts.

The Gears of War 4 Game Drive will be available this September for $99.99. Pre-orders can be placed now.

The Xbox One S Gears of War 4 Limited Edition 2TB bundle includes the specially designed console, a Gears edition of the new Xbox One controller, the complete Gears of War 4: Ultimate Edition and a season pass for the game. It also allows owners to get early access to Gears of War 4 starting Oct. 7.

Retail price for the Xbox One S Gears bundle is $449.99. Microsoft is also expected to launch Gears-themed accessories separately alongside the release of the limited edition console.

Gears of War 4 is set to release Oct. 11 for Xbox One and PC.

Quick Take

If you are a dedicated Gears fan, this may appeal to you. The Gears-inspired Xbox One S comes with 2TB of storage, but if you don’t want to trade in your original Xbox for a slimmer one, the storage upgrade offered by the Game Drive may be all you need.
