Gaming Illustrated Names Ryan Bloom New Chief Editor

Today, Gaming Illustrated LLC and its main holding, GamingIllustrated.com, announced that Associate Editor Ryan Bloom has been promoted to the new role of Chief Editor. Bloom spent the previous two years as an Associate Editor of GamingIllustrated.com and has written hundreds of news, editorial, and review features while also covering live events such as E3. He takes over day-to-day operations of the website and will manage a team of four Associate Editors and dozens of contributing writers. Sean Gibson, founder of the site, who has served as Executive Editor for over a dozen years will remain with the site in a yet-to-be-defined capacity to ensure a smooth transition. He will also continue to contribute content on a more limited basis.
