The third-person four player co-op shooter will release in Europe on May 31.
EA announced the release date for Fuse was delayed in January. The game was originally scheduled to launch in March. According to EA COO Peter Moore, the delay was made in order to allow from some extra work to go into the game.
Insomniac also unveiled pre-order bonus details available for early-purchase customers. Pre-ordering the game will net players special armor and weapon customization options and increased damage to one-handed weapons for all four elite agents.
The full pre-order extras include four Hyperion Prototype Agent Armor Skins, four Hyperion Prototype Weapon Skins, and the Quickdraw Team Perk used to add powerful Fuse elements to all one-handed weapons for all four characters in the squad and increase damage.
Although Fuse encourages four player co-op play, the single-player experience allows gamers to switch between characters in order to take advantage of each agent’s special abilities. The LEAP feature of the game can be used at any time during combat. Players will also be able to level up along character paths, unlocking more powerful abilities through the game’s progression system.
