Free Max Payne DLC Coming in August

Max Payne 3 players will be getting the Disorganized Crime Pack of downloadable content this month for free.

The new Hoboken Rooftops multiplayer map included in the free DLC will have gamers battling above the streets surrounding Max’s old apartment. The pack also contains several new modifiers for Score Attack in Arcade Mode. The new modifiers include Explosive Rounds, in which bullets detonate on impact, Lone Wolf A.I. for more aggressive enemies, and Headshots Only, which sounds like exactly what it is.

Rockstar has also announced they will be changing around the remaining DLC packs for Max Payne 3. Rather than having five content packages, three DLC drops with more content included will be released. The New York Minute Co-Op Pack has been integrated into the Deathmatch Made in Heaven Pack. Content from the Trickle Down Economics Pack has also been spread across upcoming releases.

The remaining DLC packages are set to release over the next few months on all platforms. The Hostage Negotiation Map Pack is expected to release in September while the Painful Memories Map Pack and Deathmatch Made in Heaven Mode Pack are both set to drop in October. Each pack will cost $7.99 or 800 Microsoft Points.

The Local Justice Pack will be available to PC players on August 9. This pack contains The Imperial Palace, Departure Lounge, and 55th Battalion HQ multiplayer maps along with the M4 Assault Rifle, Light Fingers Item, and a new São Paulo Police multiplayer faction. It will be on sale for $5.99 for it’s first week before going back to the regular price of $7.99.

PC players will also be able to get access to the pre-order bonuses on August 9. The content includes the Cemetery Multiplayer Map, Silent Killer Loadout Pack, Pill Bottle Item, Deadly Force Burst, and the Classic Max Payne 1 Character.

The Max Payne 3 Special Edition Pack, which was previously only available through the Max Payne 3 Special Edition, is out now for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 and will release on August 9 for PC. The pack consists of the Classic Multiplayer Character Pack and the Disorderly Conduct Multiplayer Weapons Pack.

As always, owners of the Max Payne 3 Rockstar Pass will receive all content at no additional charge. The Rockstar Pass gives gamers a 35% discount on all DLC and is currently available from the in-game store for $29.99 (2,400 Microsoft Points).
