EA Sports Announces NHL 15

EA Sports announced NHL 15 will be coming to Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 this fall. It is the first time the series will be making the jump to next-gen consoles.
[adsense250itp]NHL 15 for Xbox One and PS4 will feature a host of upgrades, including authentic player models, more than 9,000 individual crowd models and evolved vision A.I.
The game will also feature an NBC Sports broadcast presentation with commentary from Mike ‘Doc’ Emrick and Eddie Olczyk. TSN analyst Ray Ferraro will lend his voice as the on-ice reporter. In addition, real-life cutscenes of Emrick and Olczyk will play pre-game alongside in-game visuals.
A voting campaign has begun to determine the cover athlete for NHL 15. Fans can vote from a pool of eight superstars at NHL.com/CoverVote. Using player-specific hashtags on Twitter Vote Thursdays can also be used to vote.
NHL stars who are eligible to win the player vote competition are Patrice Bergeron, Logan Couture, Drew Doughty, Matt Duchene, Erik Karlsson, Phil Kessel, T.J. Oshie and P.K. Subban. The player with the most votes will be announced the winner at the 2014 NHL Awards on June 24.

The NHL’s second season is in full swing so this is an ideal time to announce the newest version of EA’s NHL franchise. There is no doubt the next-gen version of the game is shaping up to be the best looking game the series has offered thus far and a brand new NBC Sports presentation package is a reason to be excited.
