Greg’s Cheers to Gaming: E3 2017 Bingo
Greg Johnson / Jun 9th, 2017 No Comments
Throughout time, man has pondered ways to make videogames more enjoyable. Like most things, alcohol was the answer. Greg’s Cheers to Gaming is a series of pieces in which editor Greg Johnson combines gaming with alcohol to make an even more interesting game.
With E3 2017 just around the bend, I figured it was as good a time as any to crack open a cold one. Two years ago, we brought you an E3 Drinking Game. You can feel free to enjoy that game once again during E3, but this year, we’re bringing you a Cheers to Gaming edition of E3 Bingo — with alcohol, of course.
Bingo, Bingo, Bingo!
Unlike in normal Bingo, where players compete to be the first to scratch off any five boxes in a row, drinking Bingo is simply about the joy of players jointly spotting one of the indicated squares and sharing a drink to celebrate.
There are other variations — such as corners, letter X and blackout bingo (we never want anyone to black out while drinking) — but for E3 2017, we’re just going to stick to the standard bingo. You must get a complete line of five in a row to win.
For every single box checked off, players should either take a shot or a big gulp from their drink. Every new day of E3 is a chance to start fresh with our custom made Bingo card!
Note that this year, the first press conference will be held by EA on Saturday, June 10. Below is the full conference scheduled for E3 so you can follow along with your Gaming Illustrated Bingo card.
