/ Nov 7th, 2013 No Comments

Namco Bandai Games Europe S.A.S announced Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z, a Dragon Ball Z fighting game, slated for release on Jan. 24. Players will not only have a choice from a Pre-Order and Day 1 edition, but can also choose to pick-up the Goku Edition.

The Goku Edition will be a Collector’s Edition for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 that will include an exclusive Goku (Naruto Uzumaki Sage Mode) Costume DLC, an art book with art and content from the developers, and a 25cm tall Super Saiyan Goku figurine.

[adsense250itp]The game mixes the action of the anime and manga with fast-paced fighting action, new gameplay mechanics, and a range of classic and brand new characters from the latest Dragon Ball Z movie. The game also features a new mode called Team Battle, where players can create their own team to battle it out. Characters will also have different brawler types, such as support, Ki-Blast, Interfere, and Melee that will vary how teams will play, and smart use of these types will make unique and dynamic combos.

Quick Take

If you’re a die-hard fan of Dragon Ball Z, the “Goku Edition” sounds like a great deal!
