Details were unveiled for Namco Bandai‘s Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z, with the reveal of Battle Mode. Players will form teams of four with other players and battle players across the globe.
Four different modes are available for players to choose from. Normal Battle gives each team a number of “retries” and whoever runs out of “retries” first loses. Score Battle calculates scores based on knockouts, and each team competes to get as many knockouts as possible. Battle Royal is an 8 player free-for-all, where one player will be victorious. Knocking out other players will give the player a score, similar to Score Battle. Lastly, Dragon Ball Grab, a mode in which two teams will fight for the seven Dragon Balls scattered around the battlefield, and players will compete over them. Whichever team collects them all or has the most out of seven at the end wins.[adsense250itp]
More characters will also join the growing roster, as Cooler, Super Saiyan Broly, and Legendary Super Saiyan Broly join the playable characters.
Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z will be available on Jan. 24 for the PlayStation 3, PSVITA, and Xbox 360.
Looks like players can make some dream teams with friends or players across the world to have some exciting matches. The hype on this game is growing!
