Dishonored: The Knife of Dunwall DLC

Dishonored will be getting its latest downloadable content pack, The Knife of Dunwall, on April 16, Bethesda announced.

The DLC will be available for Xbox 360 via Xbox Live for 800 Microsoft Points and on PlayStation 3 via the PlayStation Network and PC through Steam for $9.99.

In The Knife of Dunwall, players will take on the role of the legendary assassin Daud. Dishonored’s main campaign starts when Daud performs an assassination on a Dunwall empress. The latest DLC focuses on what happens to Daud after the murder. Players will explore unknown portions of Dunwall in search of Delilah, a new character.

Playing as Daud will give gamers new weapons and powers not available to the main game’s protagonist. A visit from the Outsider gives Daud unique supernatural abilities. Players will be able to call upon the Whalers for help in combat with the Summon Assassin ability. Void Gaze will make it easier for players to find hidden Runes and Bone Charms. New weapons and gadgets include Chokedust, which is used to daze enemies, and whale oil powered Stun Mines, and a concealed Wristbow equipped with sleep darts and explosive bolts.

In the DLC for the first-person stealth game, gamers must infiltrate the Rothwild Slaughterhouse. Fans familiar with the game will enjoy revisiting Daud’s hidden base in the Flooded District and other scenes from Dishonored with a different perspective.

Daud’s story is set to conclude with the final bonus content, The Brigmore Witches. No release date has been announced for the final DLC.

Developed by Arkane Studios and published by Bethesda, Dishonored released in October 2012.
