/ Jun 6th, 2013 2 Comments

Diablo 3

[adsense250itp]Diablo 3 is set to release on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 Sept. 3, Blizzard announced. Players can pre-order the console version of the game from select retail outlets now for the cost of $59.99. Pre-ordering the game will net players the exclusive in-game item the Infernal Helm. The bonus item gives any character who wears it an experience point boost. Retailers are also expected to offer their own separate pre-order bonuses.

Diablo 3 has been fully optimized for use with console controllers. The console version also features a dynamic camera that puts users’ main character front and center. Additionally, a brand new user interface and intuitive control system will make the game easier than ever to play.

The game will feature both solo and co-op play. Up to four players can fight the enemies of the Burning Hells together locally on the same screen or cooperatively through Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network. Players can also use a combination of local and online multiplayer.

Players take on the role of one of five characters in Diablo 3. The barbarian, witch doctor, wizard, monk or demon hunter embarks on a journey to save the game world of Sanctuary from the evil of the Burning Hells. The game features challenging and entertaining hack-and-slash combat.

Diablo 3 was originally released for PC and Mac in May 2012. Within 24 hours, it became the fastest-selling PC game of all time. Diablo 3 has sold more than 12 million copies worldwide.

The console version of the game will be released in the U.S., Canada, Spanish-speaking Latin America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. Diablo 3 for PS3 and Xbox 360 will be fully localized in English, German, French, Latin American Spanish, European Spanish, Russian, Italian, Polish and Brazilian Portuguese.

Release information for Brazil, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Southeast Asia is expected to be announced at a later date.

Pretty exciting news here. NBA 2k13 was our Sports Game of the Year, 2013 so it’ll be great to see what 2kSports will come up with next.
