Square Enix announced the Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director’s Cut is coming soon exclusively to the Wii U.

The exclusive Wii U version is designed to take advantage of the features of the GamePad. While playing the game, the GamePad can be used for touch-screen hacking, map editing, sniping and throwing grenades. Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director’s Cut will also integrate Miiverse, meaning players will have access to developer commentaries and any in-game guides.

In addition, the Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director’s Cut comes with the downloadable content pack The Missing Link and the pre-order bonus mission Tong’s Rescue. Both pieces of bonus content will be integrated directly into the main game.

Developed by Eidos Montreal with help on the port by Straight Right, Deus Ex: Human Revolution will also be receiving gameplay tweaks to improve upon the version for its console brothers. Straight Right is the same developer that ported Mass Effect to the Wii U. The original version of Deus Ex: Human Revolution released in 2011 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.

The developers have made a massive overhaul to boss battles. Players no longer have to fire a single bullet in order to defeat bosses. The Wii U version of the game will also feature improved game balance and combat along with more intelligent A.I. and impressive visuals.

No official release date for Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director’s Cut has been announced.
