Destiny Festival of the Lost Starts Tomorrow

Halloween is right around the corner which means it’s time for Destiny Festival of the Lost!
From Oct. 25 through Nov. 8 guardians can take a break from fighting against the Darkness and its evil forces to engage in a bit of mask-making and item collecting.
Bungie introduced the Festival of the Lost event last year nearly a month after the release of The Taken King expansion. This year’s event comes not long after the release of Rise of Iron. Players have the opportunity to collect new items and participate in events that are exclusive to the two week period.
Vendors and NPCs from the various social spaces in Destiny give players quests that are centered around the Halloween theme. New masks from an Iron Lord to Ghost can be found and equipped. A holiday kiosk will appear in the Tower allowing players access to masks and holiday items from last year. Completing quests and opening Treasures of the Lost unlocks emotes, weapon ornaments, consumables, cosmetic items, and more.
Festival of the Lost will be available for PS4 and Xbox One Destiny players.
Destiny 2 is coming… eventually. Rise of Iron is a suitable way to stretch out the exhausted legs of a game that should be commended for still keeping such a dedicated fan base. But whether Destiny 2 is months away, a year away, or longer, Bungie needs to introduce content that is fun and somewhat fresh. People will still play but it helps when they are engaged and having fun not repeating the same quests week in and week out.
