Days Gone Release Date Delayed to April

Originally slated to launch sometime in 2018, Days Gone has been delayed a second time, according to a post on the official PlayStation blog.
The post-apocalyptic action-adventure title was set to launch Feb. 22, 2019, but instead will release two months later, on April 26, 2019.
Sony said developer Bend Studio will use the extra time to “further polish Days Gone,” but the company has also admitted that the competition on the game’s February launch date was at least part of the reason for the delay.
“We recently decided to move the release of Days Gone from the crowded February timeframe to April 26, 2019,” Asad Qizilbash, Sony’s Vice President of Marketing (SIEA), said in the blog post.
Before this most recent delay, Days Gone shared its release date with Bioware’s Anthem, Metro Exodus, Trials Uprising and the Microsoft exclusive Crackdown 3. The game will now be able to shine on its own in April.
