Call of Duty Ghosts Devs Talk Free Fall Map

All players who pre-order Call of Duty: Ghosts will receive the Free Fall multiplayer at launch at no extra cost.
Free Fall is a dynamic map which takes place in a portion of a building that has collapsed and is now wedged between two other structures. Gamers will not only have to deal with opposing players but will also have to be cautious of the environment.
As the multiplayer match progresses, the area in which the match takes place continues to give way and change. The ground players are on is actually made of glass windows from the side of the building.
The map is based on a cinematic moment from a level in the single-player campaign called Federation Day. Developer Infinity Ward said Free Fall is a way to bring the action-packed cinematic moments from the solo campaign, a staple of the Call of Duty franchise, to multiplayer.
Free Fall is an interesting addition to Call of Duty multiplayer that could change the way players view multiplayer maps. The map will be available as a pre-order bonus across all platforms.
Infinity Ward is shaking up the multiplayer formula with Call of Duty Ghosts. The game will include all new multiplayer game modes, a revamped perks system, an enhanced kill streak system and character and weapon customization.
Call of Duty Ghosts is set to release Nov. 5 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. The PlayStation 4 version of the game is expected to release alongside the console on Nov. 15. The game will also launch with the Xbox One but a release date has yet to be announced.
