Call of Duty: Ghosts gameplay and plot details were presented at the Xbox Reveal event.
A new trailer for the game featuring actual in-game footage debuted in addition to a behind-the-scenes video from Infinity Ward and Activision.
The trailer gave new insights to the game. In Call of Duty: Ghosts, players will have a canine companion who acts as a squadmate.
Call of Duty: Ghosts will take place in a not-so-distant future in which America has been ravaged by enemies. It is up to an elite squad of soldiers called Ghosts to save the country.

In addition to a new storyline, Call of Duty: Ghosts will feature a completely rebuilt game engine. The new engine will allow for better visuals, more textures and improved gunplay. Players will be able to leap over objects while running, lean around walls to get a better view of battlefield and slide down to get out of the line of fire. Other objects such as smoke and animals will also have dynamic features that interact with the environment.
Call of Duty: Ghosts will have dynamic events in multiplayer maps. The map will interact with players in new ways with items falling down or floods occurring in certain areas.
Gamers will also have character customization available for multiplayer. The look and items characters will wear is completely customizable in Call of Duty: Ghosts to go along with the standard weapon customization available in previous Call of Duty games.
Call of Duty: Ghosts was officially announced earlier this month. The game is set to release Nov. 5 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. Despite being featured at the event unveiling the Xbox One, Call of Duty: Ghosts was not given a release date for next-generation consoles.
