Bungie Parterning with Direct Relief for Hurricane Harvey Victims

Bungie is inviting Guardians and players around the world to help with the victims of Hurricane Harvey and those impacted by the disaster in Texas.
The Bungie Foundation is partnering up with Direct Relief, a humanitarian aid organization which provides assistance to communities and people in times of crisis. Hurricane Harvey has been affecting the state of Texas for nearly two weeks, causing record-setting flooding and damage for cities like Houston.
Direct Relief has already begun aid efforts in Houston but is also responsible for partnering with Bungie with efforts in Nepal after a 7.8 magnitude earthquake hit the country in April 2015. Bungie raised over $1 million for Direct Relief by selling a limited edition t-shirt, in-game shader, and emblem for Destiny 1.
This year, Bungie is offering a commemorative pin through the Bungie Store. Those who purchase the pin will receive a code for an emblem that can be used in Destiny 2. All profits from the purchase will go straight to Direct Relief. Bungie says that supplies are limited and that orders will be delayed as it attempts to get the offer up during the storm.
Destiny 2 releases on Sept. 6 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and Oct. 24 on PC.
