Blizzard will sell tickets to this year’s BlizzCon in two batches on April 24 and April 27, the company announced.
A limited number of tickets will also be available for a pre-BlizzCon dinner to benefit Children’s Hospital of Orange County starting on May 1.
BlizzCon is a two-day gathering focused on the work of Blizzard, which includes the Warcraft, Diablo and StarCraft game franchises. The event includes panel discussions, hands-on gameplay and exclusive Blizzard announcements. BlizzCon 2013, the seventh Blizzard convention, will also host the StarCraft 2 World Championship Series Global Finals.
Tickets to BlizzCon will be available on the event’s official website for a price of $175. The first batch of tickets will be sold on April 24 at 7 p.m. PST. The second group of tickets for BlizzCon will be made available on April 27 at 10 a.m. PST.
Attendees can also purchase tickets to the BlizzCon Benefit Dinner for $500. The price includes admission to the convention with proceeds going to Children’s Hospital of Orange County. The dinner is scheduled to take place on Nov. 7. All 200 tickets to the dinner will be available on May 1 at 7 p.m. PST.
For gamers who will not be able to attend the convention, Blizzard is offering a BlizzCon Virtual Ticket. The digital ticket will allow players from around the world to watch live coverage of the event via a multi-channel Internet stream. Pricing and information regarding the BlizzCon Virutal Ticket have yet to be announced.
