Black Ops 2 Revolution

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 players on PlayStation 3 and PC will finally be getting the Revolution downloadable content pack on Feb. 28, Activision and Treyarch announced.

Gamers can purchase the Revolution DLC for $14.99. The map pack is also available as part of the Black Ops 2 Season Pass, which includes all four planned bonus content packs, the Nuketown Zombies bonus map and exclusive in-game calling card for the discounted price of $49.99.

Revolution DLC includes four new multiplayer maps, one new map pack for Zombies mode and a new game mode for Zombies that allows gamers to play as a zombie.

Hydro is a new multiplayer map set at a hydro-electric plant complete with lethal floods in Pakistan. The new Grind map is set in Venice Beach, Calif., a city known for being the birthplace of skateboarding. Downhill is a snowy map that takes place at a ski resort in the French Alps with a moving gondola system that can either help or hurt players. Located in the Gobi Desert of China, Mirage puts players in a once-luxurious resort ravaged by a sandstorm.

The DLC also has plenty to offer for fans of the popular Zombies mode. Die Rise is a new map set in a Chinese city affected by a zombie outbreak. The map is a maze of skyscrapers where players will have to fight zombie hoards with new Wonder Weaponry.

In addition to the new map, Zombies will be getting a new game mode courtesy of Revolution. Turned flips Zombies mode upside down by offering gamers a chance to play as a member of the undead and infect the competition.

The first DLC for Black Ops 2 is already available to Xbox 360 owners.
