Bethesda Announces Dishonored 2

/ Jun 15th, 2015 No Comments

Dishonored 2

Dishonored 2 is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC in spring 2016, Bethesda officially announced during its first ever E3 press conference.

The game is a sequel to the 2012 stealth fantasy title developed by Arkane Studios. Dishonored 2 will be set 15 years after the events of the original steampunk-inspired game.

Players will be able to take control of both Corvo Attano and Emily Kaldwin, a princess first seen in the original game. Dishonored 2 will also feature a new setting, the coastal city of Karnaca. The location will play a big role in Emily’s journey to restore her power.

As in the original game, players will be able to get through the entire campaign without actually killing any enemies.

Quick Take

Once Bethesda announced its first ever E3 press conference, we expected most of its popular franchises would appear. Unfortunately, all we saw of Dishonored 2 was a cinematic trailer. While a sequel wasn’t much of a surprise, it is a bit of a shocker to see a re-release of the original game that came out in 2012.
