/ Jun 21st, 2013 2 Comments

Battlefield 4 PC requirements

Battlefield 4, the upcoming first-person shooter from DICE and EA, will have a new game mode called Commander Mode. An official trailer showing the game mode in action and new screenshots were released by DICE.

The screenshots and trailer show incredibly realistic graphics that will surely give players a true, in-depth gaming experience. The graphics are quite incredible. The realism almost makes viewers feel they are looking at actual newsreel footage rather than a game.

In Battlefield 4, Commander Mode, a single player will have the charge of leading their team into battle against other teams around the world. Battlefield 4’s Commander Mode provides the player three distinct options while leading their team. The first option is the ability to strategize and provide intel for their team thanks to the overhead battle map you are provided. The second option allow the Commander to use the map to pick and choose strategic spots for either vehicle or supply drops to support their team, and finally once said Commander has planned out his attack to the letter, he can finally go on the offensive and bring opponents to their knees.

In campaign mode, Battlefield 4 takes place six years after the events of Battlefield 3, putting players in control on the game’s hero “Recker”, along with his squad codenamed “Tombstone”. Campaign mode will take players to various global locales such a China, Baku, and Azerbaijan. Players can expect to face off against Russian soldiers, The People’s Liberation Army, and much more.

Also one of the most unique and innovative abilities about Commander mode is that it can be played from a tablet, PC, or Console giving players an all new next gen gaming experience.

EA is best known for the Battlefield series, Mass Effect, Rockband, and the Sims.

Battlefield 4 is scheduled to be released on October 29 for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC.

Any information about licensing? Do you have to own the game to be a commander? If you own the game, and are playing the game on your Xbox, do you need another license to have a tablet running as the commander?

Ya I want to know the same thing. I have the Xbox version and just unlocked Commander mode. I want to find out what I have to do to play it.
