The End Game downloadable content pack for Battlefield 3 will begin to release on March 5 and see a different release date throughout March for different platforms, developer DICE announced.

PlayStation 3 owners who purchased Battlefield 3 Premium will receive the End Game DLC first on March 5. Premium owners playing on Xbox 360 and Windows PC will get access to the DLC on March 12. The DLC will release to all PS3 players on March 19 and all Xbox 360 players on March 26.

End Game DLC consists of four new large maps designed to take advantage of new vehicles also included in the DLC. Dice previously revealed details on Operation Riverside, Nebandan Flats, Kiasar Railroad and Sabalan Pipeline.

[adsense250itp]DICE also revealed two new medals, four new ribbons, 16 new dog tags, five new assignments and five additional new assignments for premium subscribers along with five new achievements and trophies associated with End Game DLC.

Battlefield 3 Premium reached more than 2.9 million subscribers.

The latest bonus content will be the last expansion for Battlefield 3. The first-person military shooter from EA and DICE released in 2011 as a competitor to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. The game was the first to use the DICE’s latest Frostbite 2 game engine.

It should come as no surprise End Game will be putting the final nail on Battlefield 3’s coffin. EA has been teasing Battlefield 4 for next generation consoles, including the recently announced PlayStation 4.
