Details on the new maps included in the upcoming Battlefield 3 downloadable content pack End Game were revealed by developer DICE.

End Game DLC consists of four new maps, including Operation Riverside, Nebandan Flats, Kiasar Railroad and Sabalan Pipeline. The bonus maps are designed to take advantage of the new vehicle offerings featured in the DLC. All new maps are around the same size as Caspian Border.

Operation Riverside takes place at an electric power substation with a river flowing along its axis. Bases spread out across the map mean it will cater more to infantry action over vehicular warfare. Operation Riverside also contains ramps and other places to jump with the new dirt bike. A partly destroyed wooden bridge in the river serves as one point designed for gamers to have fun with the new vehicle.

Nebandan Flats is an arid desert complete with giant windmills and a warehouse that hides secret weapons and munitions. The entire range of Battlefield 3 vehicles will be at players’ disposal in this large, open map. Players will want to use faster vehicles to ensure protection from attacks.

Kiasar Railroad is set in a wooded logging area. A railway goes through the map, delivering covert weapons. Players can use the differing altitudes and opportunity for cover to their advantage. Dirt bike riders can hit big air jumps that are built into the landscape of the map.

Sabalan Pipeline once again brings a snowy setting to life in Battlefield 3. Like Operation Riverside, the Sabalan Pipeline map works for both vehicular combat and infantry gameplay. The frosty oil pipeline has fewer and more narrow maps compared to the rest of the maps from the game. Gaining control of those roads will be important to winning matches on the map. Similarly, a central base in the middle of the map is an essential asset.

End Game DLC for Battlefield 3 is expected to release in March. No specific release date has been announced.
