Battle Perks to Reward Competitive Gamers

Battle Perks

You’re a competitive gamer, perhaps a great one. You routinely mystify fellow gamers with your unparalleled skill, dominating leaderboards and coolly ignoring the profanities creatively intertwined with your name. You lead clans who lay waste to competitors and take pride in being feared. However, your enduring fame has rendered you indifferent and bored. You need some stronger incentive to destroy, to intensify your tactics. You need some tangible reward to compliment your craft. You need Battle Perks.

If you’re interested in getting BattlePoints NOW and getting in on the action early for some sick rewards, pre-register for the Battle Perks beta release today.

Battle Perks is the upcoming, free online ladders system that aims to reward skill with real prizes. Currently being developed by ViralSyntax, Battle Perks will bring a new angle to competitive gaming by enabling players to earn points based on their leaderboard rank. Points earned can then be redeemed for an array of prizes ranging from cool to collectible. Battle Perks will be a worthwhile opportunity for gamers who already flex their virtual muscle for no reason other than to exhibit their abilities. Now, instead of merely boosting egos and infuriating opponents, the hard work and dedication of players will pay off in the form of actual, real life items. If you’re currently a contestant in PvP matches, like those of Modern Warfare 3 or Battlefield 3, the trophies of Battle Perks should intrigue you.

Here is how the Battle Perks ladders system will work: individuals and teams will sign up for either tournaments or heads up matches. Those who either win, achieve top rank, or referee matches will earn a certain amount of points. These points will then be redeemable in the BattleStore. The BattleStore will offer prizes that will vary by point value. Battle Perks has leaked that prizes may include smaller items like “stickers and controller grips to higher-value items like headsets, custom controllers,…consoles, games, and gift-cards.” Even more, players who do not leave a bloody wake in their leaderboard score can still earn points. Referring friends, purchasing games and gaming gear from partner sites, completing offers and surveys, spreading the word about Battle Perks, and signing up for services are all alternative options to acquiring points. For example, a Battle Perks player could sign up for an account with one of their accredited (and well known) partners and receive 1500 BattlePoints. Another, more unique way for participants to earn points is through referring matches.

Battle Perks referees will be specially selected from a pool of Battle Perks applicants. These prestigious players will have a public profile with public feedback so Battle Perks can monitor their impartiality. In order to prevent biases, unsportsmanlike conduct, and cheating, players will not be able to select a particular referee. In addition, referees will be unable to see what player has requested match oversight until he has accepted the invitation. Referees who take the time to ensure a good, clean match will be reimbursed with a percentage of BattlePoints. For players who may lack the skill to win but excel in game moderation, refereeing may be a great way to accumulate points.

Battle Perks anticipates focusing on more popular PvP games, however the service plans to evolve, progressively catering to gamers and the games they want to play. Battle Perks has said that “any game with a clearly defined set of rules that allows a winner to be chosen can be supported [by Battle Perks].” Battle Perks plans to enable players to post challenges for the games they enjoy, compete against other Battle Perk members, and rack up points. This sounds like an excellent way for players to optimize their gameplay time and reap legitimate compensation. Battle Perks begs the question: if you’re going to play to win, why not play to win real stuff?

Although no official release date for Battle Perks has been announced, developers are feeling optimistic about a nearing release. When questioned on a possible release date, Casey, one of the founders of Battle Perks, remarked that it could be as soon as 4 months. The Battle Perks team wants to ensure they can offer a reliable, efficient service before release. Whenever Battle Perks finally debuts, the service is expected to support PSN, Steam, Xbox Live, and Battle.net. Battle Perks states on their official website that all countries will have access to their free service which will operate on top of the line, quality servers. So if you’re interested in gaming fame and riches reserve your beta release spot on Battle Perks today!
