The A50 BF4 Edition will be multi-platform compatible though it is specially tuned for the Xbox 360.  ASTRO’s newest headsets can be used with Xbox 360, PC and PlayStation 3 as well as home entertainment systems. A50 BF4’s are available for purchase starting this week and will retail for $299.99.

Quick Take

COD is doing headsets with Turtle Beach so why not Battlefield with ASTRO Gaming? Seems like a good idea except, what’s the deal Sony? Two big headset companies are making gaming headphones with two huge FPS franchises and you didn’t think to get in on that action? Kinda stings that both Turtle Beach and ASTRO specifically tuned their headsets for the Xbox 360 doesn’t it? Makes us wonder who the next FPS franchise/headset, peripheral match-up is going to be and if Sony will get a piece of that action?
