Ubisoft is celebrating the 10-year anniversaries of World in Conflict and Assassin’s Creed by giving away games on its Uplay service, the company announced in a post on its official blog.
To celebrate the anniversary of its release, the real-time strategy game World in Conflict is available to download for PC now through Dec. 11 at 2 a.m. PT. Players will also be able to download the Soviet Assault expansion for the game as a holiday gift from Ubisoft.
It has also been 10 years since the launch of the original Assassin’s Creed game. To commemorate this event, Ubisoft is making Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag free for Uplay members from Dec. 12 at 6 a.m. PT to Dec. 18 at 2 a.m. PT.

A pirate’s life for me!
Black Flag, which originally released in 2013, seems like an odd choice for a tenth anniversary present, but the game is still held in high regard. In fact, we wrote how Assassin’s Creed IV is the best adventure the franchise has offered thus far, and it was long held as one of the top games for the current generation of consoles. If you still have yet to play Black Flag, now is the perfect opportunity to do so.
Ubisoft said that as long as you download the games while they are offered for free on Uplay, you will be able to access it and play forever.
