Assassin’s Creed 4 Trailer Leaked and Major Details Revealed
Sean Gibson / Mar 2nd, 2013 5 Comments
Blackbeard speaks of this man, which is the central character in Assassin’s Creed 4, while action filled intense cut-scenes are voiced over by the pirate. At no point did Blackbeard as “The Assassin” interact, but it was clear that their paths had crossed in the past and Blackbeard knew this man to be more dangerous than he.
The central assassin character, which is presumably the one that gamers will play as, looks to be of similar mold to other characters. He’s a young man (so it’ll be a male and not a female), blond hair, fair skin and in his mid-20s by a fair guess. At many point during the trailer, he was not in Assassin’s garb, but only donned it during battle and assassinations.
To say that the trailer was packed with action would be an understatement. There were epic ship-to-ship sea battles shown, with the assassin taking a rope and swinging from one ship to another, as well as a battle on the docks. Plenty of men were slaughtered, no match for the assassin’s skill.
As always, the almost iconic view of all the Assassin’s Creed games comes into play during the trailer.
During this scene with our assassin swimming toward wreckage, and perhaps loot, Blackbeard stated that this man was dangerous on land and sea.
In this scene, the assassin is in his traditional garb and came up behind a couple, only to assassinate the man and then start walking off with the buxom woman, who seems less than thrilled at this turn of events.
Boom. Assassin’s Creed 4 will be released on October 29, 2013 on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Wii U and PC – at the very least. While this trailer did not come from Ubisoft’s YouTube Channel and no official comment has been given, although further rumors are stating the Ubisoft took down the video and plan to release it on Monday, March 5.
