Assassin's Creed 4

[adsense250itp]The Assassin’s Creed 4 Black Flag Limited Edition is available for pre-order now, Ubisoft announced. The company also released a new trailer for the game, showcasing the life of a pirate.

Included in the Assassin’s Creed 4 Black Flag Limited Edition is a copy of the game, an 18-inch statue of main character Edward Kenway, an embroidered Assassin’s Creed pirate flag with crest, an 80-page art book and soundtrack from the game. All of the extras will come packed in an exclusive SteelBook game case.

The limited edition is priced at $129.99 and is available to pre-order at participating retailers now.

Ubisoft also released a new trailer for Assassin’s Creed 4 Black Flag featuring a look at the life of a pirate. The nearly three-minute-long trailer entitled A Pirate’s Life on High Seas gives a glimpse at the singing, drinking and multiple forms of acquiring booty a pirate experiences.

However, life is not all fun and games for pirates. Aside from hard work and strategizing, pirates often dance with death. In 1715, Kenway has earned the respect of legendary pirate Blackbeard. By working alongside Blackbeard, Kenway unknowingly falls into the middle of an ancient war that is threatening to take down the pirate’s empire.

While the trailer mostly reveals more story information about the game, gameplay is shown briefly. Ubisoft previously released a trailer showing the expansion of naval gameplay and improvements made from Assassin’s Creed 3. Players will also be able to engage in Moby Dick-style hunts for whales while at sea.

Assassin’s Creed 4 Black Flag is set to release on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 Oct. 29. A version for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 is expected to be available at the console’s launch. The game will also release for PC this holiday season.

A Pirate’s Life on High Seas can be viewed below via the franchise’s official YouTube channel.
