Assassin’s Creed 3: The Tyranny of King Washington Release Dates Announced
The three-part episodic The Tyranny of King Washington bonus content for Assassin’s Creed 3 will be released in February, March and April, Ubisoft announced.
The Infamy, the first episode of the DLC, will be released on Feb. 19 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Windows PC.
On March 19, the second episode, entitled The Betrayal, will debut on the same platforms.
The third episode, The Redemption, is scheduled to release on April 23.
All DLC for Assassin’s Creed 3 is expected to release for the Wii U version of the game through the Nintendo eShop at an unannounced date.
The Tyranny of King Washington is set in an alternate reality in which George Washington sets up a tyrannical regime as King of the U.S. It is up to Connor to put an end to Washington’s tyrannical reign.
Connor will need to master all new abilities in order to take down the king. Ubisoft community developer Gabriel Graziani unveiled each of the protagonist’s new powers in a post on the PlayStation Blog.
For strength, Connor can summon the Power of the Bear. The Power of the Eagle will give the hero an added burst of speed and blinding agility. Players will be able to master camouflage tactics with the Power of the Wolf. As a symbol of power and courage, Warpaint will enhance the main character’s abilities. Perhaps the most interesting power, the Alpha of the Pack ability will allow players to command a pack of ruthless wolves.
