Assassin's Creed 3 Hidden Secrets DLC

Assassin’s Creed 3 Hidden Secrets DLC

Assassin’s Creed 3 Season Pass owners can download the game’s first downloadable content package now and all players can get the DLC on Dec. 11, Ubisoft announced.

The Hidden Secrets DLC pack is the first set of new content for Assassin’s Creed 3 and is available for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Windows PC. A Wii U release is planned for a later date that has yet to be revealed.

Three new missions are coming to Assassin’s Creed 3 via the Hidden Secrets Pack. Gamers will be able to enjoy an extra hour of gameplay in missions including the Lost Mayan Ruins, the Ghost of War, and a Dangerous Secret. New in-game weapons will be rewarded to players as they pass missions.

The DLC also includes the Captain of the Aquila uniform and the traditional Colonial Assassin outfit single player costumes. As for multiplayer, players will acquire the Redcoat and Sharpshoot characters.

Gamers who want to get their hands on the Hidden Secrets Pack immediately can purchase a Season Pass for Assassin’s Creed 3. It grants players who own the game access to all five downloadable content packs.  Buying the Season Pass gives gamers a 25 percent discount from purchasing each content package separately. The Season Pass costs 2400 Microsoft Points or $29.99 in human currency. PC gamers can also purchase the digital download exclusive Assassin’s Creed 3 Deluxe Edition which includes all future downloadable content for $64.99.

It will grant players to future content, including the three-part episodic The Tyranny of King Washington single-player campaign that features an alternate history of the events following the American Revolution.

Additional Assassin’s Creed 3 downloadable content, such as the upcoming The Battle Hardened pack, will feature new multiplayer maps and characters for an even more expansive multiplayer experience.

Assassin’s Creed 3 is an open-world stealth action game that released on Oct. 30 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, Nov. 18 for Wii U and Nov. 20 on PC.

Gaming Illustrated has covered the game extensively. Be sure to check out our interviews with character artist Remko Troost here and concept artist Gilles Beloeil here.
