Action RPG Blood Knights Announced
It seems that vampires have struck everywhere in media, but fans can’t seem to get enough of the blood running, men seducing, drama filled sensation that has changed our weekday show line up. Well, don’t worry Twilight/True Blood/Vampire Diaries fiends because dtp entertainment has just announced the perfect game for you: Blood Knights. Developed by leading independent game company Deck13 (Venetica, Jack Keane), Blood Knights is an action RPG that will fill your thirst with blood gushing battles, magical abilities and sensuous vampires. Interested already?
Taking place in the Middle Ages, the story focuses on Jeremy, a vampire slayer and well known warrior. During one of his quests, he is bitten by a vampire, and finds himself bound by blood to Alysa, a beautiful but deadly vampire. The two of them must now work together to break the blood oath and fight against supernatural powers and creatures. Werewolves, sorcerers, and blood sucking vixens are just some of the enemies you’ll be facing. But, with careful strategy and attack methods, Jeremy and Alysa will overcome the curse that binds them.
Players will be able to control both characters in campaign or team up with a friend in co-op mode. Jeremy and Alysa’s abilities differ greatly, which can be strategized when fighting against supernatural evil. Jeremy is a warrior, who wields swords and heavy weaponry. Alysa is a stealthy character who uses bombs, traps and arrows to take down foes. As you level up your characters, they develop vampire-like abilities that will further your strategies for battle. For example, Jeremy can pull together groups of enemies and lash out attack once they are in range.
Blood Knights promises to keep blood thirsty gamers entertained with action packed fight scenes, dynamic characters and bosses, and vampiric abilities that all fans would love to have. It will be available for download on the PC and console systems in the third quarter of this year. A price hasn’t been announced yet, but just looking at some of the gameplay and fight scenes makes me believe it’ll be worth playing.
