TFH Gaming was first conceived during lunch between William Fairway and Ben LaVigne. Tired of “busy” gaming related websites that do more selling than actual reviewing, they found it exciting when they openly spoke of the possibility of starting a site truly dedicated to gaming fans.
On May 24, 2002, TFHGaming.com evolved into GamingIllustrated.com. The new name better reflects the truly “insider’s perspective” and provocative and unique content the site continually publishes.
