GRAPHICS
Undoubtedly, Spider-Man 2 for PSP offers up some of the best graphics we've seen to date for this new console system. The game's motion graphics and models are pretty well rendered, and you really do get a sense this is a quality game. The levels are well rendered and make for a visually pleasing experience – great graphics.
SOUND
Although there is no Bruce Campbell tutorial, the sound effects and the music is pretty straight forward and what you would expect. Nothing too crazy, but good enough to round out the graphics just right. I did love the fact that the real voices from the actors in the movie were used!
GAME PLAY

The gameplay of Spider-Man 2 for PSP is totally mission based which is a bit different than the PS2 game where it was free flowing through the whole city. After the tutorial, the game is very easy to catch onto and makes a great game for newbies to try out.

The game is your standard adventure game, where you have a mission to complete (usually in a specific amount of time) and once you get through , continue through the story and into the next mission. You get the sense that you are participating in a sequence of events, not simply killing away at random enemies and events.

The missions are well varied – sometimes you have to jump through things and kill the bad guys, sometimes you have to save people from the burning buildings, and sometimes you need to stop falling cars from crushing people. If you just focus on the main tasks, you can zip through the game pretty quickly. Although you can't freely roam the city, you can freely roam the levels typically, unlocking some neat hidden secrets typically.

ONLINE / MULTIPLAYER
The game is fairly long in its 19 levels and has a variety of things to do and unlock while playing through the title. It's also a game you might revisit a few months after you beat it since the game was pretty fun and impressive.
OVERALL IMPRESSION

Activision has done very well with the first of their two initial releases for PSP. Spider-Man 2 is a great adventure game for PSP that hits the fervor of the original movies very well and has the action that gamers will definitely enjoy.

Overall, Spider-Man 2 for PSP is a fun adventure title that gamers will enjoy. It's a nice, straight forward game that has some good graphics and cut scenes from the movie. It's more recommended for beginning and intermediate gamers rather than for advanced die hard people – but overall makes a great playing experience for everyone.
